TTG: Whats new with Park Inn by Radisson Muscat Hotel and Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Residence Duqm?
Park Inn by Radisson Muscat and Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Residence Duqm received back to back online review awards this year, such as TripAdvisor, Expedia, Agoda and Travelocity. With the rise of the number of hotels in Sultanate of Oman, it is our competitive edge, the awards which we have achieved and quality customer services that make us stand out.
TTG: What is some of the biggest tourism news in Oman for 2018? Talk to me about the changes and challenges the tourism industry has seen this year.
The introduction of flights to new destinations, as well as big events, help to boost tourism in Oman. With the upcoming hotel openings in our area, we need to raise the bar in terms of services, facilities and guest satisfactions.
TTG: What are some of Oman’s current key strategies for enticing more visitor arrivals? How is the tourism industry working to enhance its offering?
Oman’s Ministry of Tourism aims to offer special rates through its ‘Experience Oman’ summer campaign and will collaborate with hospitality entities in the country to offer packages on accommodation, F&B and leisure facilities, while promoting the Sultanate as destination for leisure and family activities.
TTG: What are travellers seeking when visiting Oman in 2018? How are is your company meeting such demands?
Oman attracts tourists with its scenic beauty, mountains, beaches, wadis, safety and security, and of course, hospitable people.
Our two Park Inn by Radisson hotels in Oman are working closely with local tour operators and agencies to create leisure packages to cater our guests’ needs.
TTG: Are there any new developments in the country? i.e. attractions, infrastructure, transportation.
The new airport in Muscat has been introduced, new hotels are in line to open their doors for business, flexible visa policies are now available online and project developments are on the rise.
TTG: What are your current source markets? Are there any newer markets on the rise?
We welcome tourists from the GCC, Europe, Asia and the UAE. We are seeing a notable influx of Chinese tourists.
